    3M Z Watertight Closure System is one of the most versatile closure systems for protecting copper conductors. The Z Watertight Closure is an economical closure which is available in one size, from one stock, in a kit that includes all the components required for quick and easy installation. The system can organize and protect mechanical and fusion fiber optic splices in the outside plant and buildings of up to 18 fiber optic splice modules. The Z Watertight closure system is watertight and non-pressurized which makes protecting up to 300-pairs of copper conductor splices a breeze. The Z Watertight closure also comes in a fire-retardant version for a variety of innovative building applications. The Z Watertight closure can also be enclosed inside another closure, like the 3M 2-Type Pressurized Closure.
